With 20+ years’ experience in road safety across a range of portfolios including road user behaviour; safety‐related in‐vehicle, roadside and wearable technology; and strategy and policy development, Dr Anna Chevalier’s achievements in delivering programs for government are underpinned by academic expertise in evidence‐based research. Her strengths include benchmarking; design, management and evaluations of large-scale innovative-technology trials; and complex statistical analysis. Anna has designed, implemented and evaluated ground‐breaking road safety programs including related to connected vehicles, naturalistic driving, driver-feedback systems, wearable technologies, intelligent speed adaption, automatic crash notification, driver fatigue and distraction detection, alcohol interlocks, reverse autonomous braking, and speed cameras. She also has experience with studies related to roadwork zones, heavy vehicles and tunnels.
