INTERVIEW WITH RUSSELL SHIELDS – AUTOMATED VEHICLES, TRANSPORT IN ASIA PACIFIC
Russ Shields is former CEO of Navigation Technologies (later NAVTEQ, now HERE), and current Chair of Ygomi LLC and CEO of RoadDB LLC. RoadDB offers a full in-vehicle software solution for the road database and localization to be used in automated driving in series production vehicles.
Mr. Shields was inducted into the inaugural class of ITS America’s ITS Hall of Fame in 2008, and was named the inaugural U.S. member of the ITS World Congress Hall of Fame in 2010.
INTERVIEW WITH AMIT TRIVEDI – INNOVATION & AUTOMATED VEHICLES
Amit Trivedi has over 25 years’ experience directing and managing risk, assurance and HSEQ management systems. His experience extends to the oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and transport sectors.
Currently, Amit leads TMR’s Connected and Highly Automated Driving (CHAD) pilot with an objective to assess safety benefits and impacts of introducing automated vehicles on Queensland roads.
