Next year’s NeTC National Electronic Tolling and Charging Conference will be incorporated into the Asia Pacific Forum 2020 program. One of the Forum’s program themes has been dedicated to Transport Pricing, Tolling and Charging. This will place ITS Australia’s annual NeTC conference within a broader industry context, affording attendees the opportunity to engage with stakeholders from across transport technology.
We encourage professionals from the Transport Pricing, Tolling and Charging industry, both here in Australia and from across the Asia Pacific region, to submit an abstract to be considered for presentation and publication at the Forum.
Remember to Submit an Abstract
Be sure to submit a paper or special interest session (SIS) to be considered for presentation and publication at the 17th Asia Pacific Forum 2020.
The program committee invites submissions for consideration as scientific, technical or commercial papers. In addition, they also invite submissions for Special Interest Sessions.
All submissions must be received online through the submission portals; emailed submissions will not be accepted.
Abstract submission deadline: Friday 6 September 2019.
Possible Themes for Submitting an Abstract
The overarching theme of the 17th Asia Pacific Forum 2020 is “ITS Innovation Creating Liveable Communities”. You are invited to submit an abstract based on any of the subthemes as seen below:
Calling all Future Leaders
The 17th Asia Pacific Forum 2020 Future Leaders Program provides students with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and research that aims to solve real ITS problems.
The Future Leaders Program will be held on Wednesday 27 May 2020, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Program sessions will incorporate student presentations, industry perspectives and mentorship, with the day ending in a ‘Shark Tank’ pitch session where selected students will pitch their research and receive feedback from an expert panel.
Host a Technical Tour or Demonstration
Hosting a technical tour or demonstration is an opportunity to showcase your organization’s ITS solutions in a real-world context.
The desired impact of the demonstrations is to inform and convince the government, decision-makers, general public and media of the benefits of Intelligent Transport Systems. Technical tours are proposed to be held within the Greater Brisbane area.
