ITS AP 2020 FAQ
If you are an international traveller you must have a valid passport and visa (with the exception of some New Zealand passport holders) before travelling to Australia.

Where is the forum being held?
The Forum is being held at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, located at Merivale St & Glenelg Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101. This is located right on the South Bank, with excellent transport links and nearby accommodation options. For more information about the venue please click here.

Getting to BCEC

How do I use public transport?
Brisbane offers easy travel on trains, buses and ferries. The best way to pay your fares is via the Go card, a smart card which allows you to load funds for any kind of public transport.

Go cards can be purchased online, at a Go card retailer, at selected transport customer service centres and shops.

What will the weather be like in Brisbane?
May is the quite nice. The high seasonal norm is 24°C. On average, the recorded minimum temperature is 15°C. The average day temperature is approximately 19°C. Light jackets are recommended for air conditioned Congress session rooms.

Getting from the airport to ITS AP Forum
There are three main ways you can get to Brisbane from the airport. You can hire a care, take a train or take a taxi.

Hire a car
The drive from Brisbane Airport to the city centre can take approximately 20 – 25 minutes.
There are several international and local car hire companies available at Brisbane Airport. Please refer to the local travel information section on our website for more information.

Train – Airport link
The Airport link is a convenient way to reach the inner city of Brisbane. Trains run approximately every 15 minutes and the trip is approximately 15 minutes. The cost of a one way adult ticket is AU$15.00

Taxi
There are a range of taxis you can order from the airport. Alternatively you can hail a taxi at the ranks outside Terminals 1, 2 and 3. A trip from the Airport to the city centre will cost approximately AU$35.
